My Practice
I am an experienced and highly qualified counselling psychologist in private practice in the City of London.
I have nearly two decades of clinical experience in providing talking therapy to diverse client groups, supported by extensive psycho-philosophical training and self-development practice. I have worked effectively with individuals (adults, adolescents, children 4+) and couples with broad spectrum of psychological need and problems, most common being: depression, anxiety (including panic, phobias, trauma, OCD, work-related stress), mood disorders, eating disorders, psychosexual issues, relationship and family issues, life transitions and loss and bereavement.
I hold a Doctoral Degree in Counselling Psychology and Masters Degree in General Psychology.
I am a BPS accredited Chartered Counselling Psychologist and HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist.
I am a member of the Society of Existential Analysis and the Polish Psychologists' Association.
I am a registered provider with major insurance companies (please enquire).
My Approach
I work within both long term (open-ended) and short term (time-limited, e.g., 8-12 sessions) frameworks.
In my work I use insights from existential-humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural approaches (mainly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT), to tailor therapy around your individual needs.
My aim is to help us develop a meaningful, relational and safe space, where you could gain in-depth understanding of your difficulty 'in context'. We could then help you clarify a sense of direction and obtain the necessary 'skill', courage and resilience to (re-)build your reality in a way that will help you grow, a reality in which you would be able to live with greater confidence, sense of ownership, meaning and purpose.
I practice from The City of London, EC2M 4NS, 1-2 minutes walk from the Liverpool Street Station.
